DESCRIPTION

Vinyl bow windows are a series of four or more adjoining window units, commonly five in number, installed on a radius from the wall of the building. All units can be stationary, operating or any combination. Vinyl bow windows provide expansive views and create another dimension to your home. They can also be accompanied by an elegant window seat, breakfast nook or plant ledge. Furthermore, bow windows are welcomed by homeowners and frequently called for by architects because of their grand, sweeping curves, which can turn a standard window opening into an appealing architectural enhancement. They do not project outward as far as Bay windows and have more glass panels and softer, more rounded angles.

The Performance ratings are dependent on the type of windows selected to be part of the Bow.

FRAME

Our Bow windows come with a strong, durable, maintenance free vinyl frame which provides a lifetime of performance.
Our vinyl bow windows are extremely durable and never require painting.
All our bow windows come with Multi-Chambered profiles for energy saving, added strength and superior insulation.
Our bow windows come with slim profiles for maximum light penetration without sacrificing strength.
Computer controlled precision miter cuts followed up by fusion welded frame and sash.

SPECIFICATIONS

Bow windows consist of 4 more windows made up of the same or various window types, typically casement or fixed windows.
A standard assembled Bow window includes 3/4″ plywood G1S (Good One Side) Head, Seat and Jambs
Standard jamb depth is 5 7/8″ – special jamb size available upon request
Custom sized replacement Bow windows can be shipped assembled or unassembled
For fresh air circulation and temperature comfort, any or all sections of our Bow windows can be made to open by adding any of our operating system options.
Bow windows can be greatly enhanced by our grille options as well as many of our accessory options.
